Hollow wall anchors also known as metal cavity anchors are an expansion anchor suitable for cavity walls. This anchor is suitable for use with a variety of sheet materials. The large flange prevents the anchor from pulling through the sheet material. The barbs on the flange stop the anchor from rotating during install.
When the anchor screw is tightened five legs expand against the back of the sheet material locking the anchor in place. These anchors are easily removed and are available in multiple sizes.
